Hair & scalp treatments

Your treatment should be based on what your hair and scalp actually need.

Melissa offers personalized in-salon treatments designed to improve the scalp environment, address visible imbalances, calm irritation, and support healthier conditions for natural hair.

Treatment begins after we understand what we are treating.

Treatment philosphy

An oily scalp does not need the same support as a dry or irritated scalp. Sudden shedding may require a different approach than gradual thinning. That is why Melissa does not recommend a treatment based on appearance alone.

Every new client begins with a Hair & Scalp Consultation. Melissa uses your assessment findings, imaging, history, and concerns to determine whether an in-salon treatment may be appropriate and which option makes the most sense.

Treatment Overview

CRLAB SCALP THERAPY

A Healthier Scalp Starts With Understanding It’s Needs

The scalp is the environment where your hair grows. When that environment is affected by excessive sebum, dryness, buildup, or irritation, it may need targeted care rather than another general shampoo or product.

CRLAB Scalp Therapy is customized using the information collected during your TricoTest. Melissa selects the appropriate treatment protocol and products based on your scalp’s condition rather than using the same process for every client.

Investment

CRLAB Scalp Therapy: $250

What the treatment is designed to do

  • Remove excess sebum and buildup

  • Deeply cleanse the scalp

  • Support a balanced scalp environment

  • Improve hydration where needed

  • Calm visible irritation and sensitivity

  • Prepare the scalp for continued treatment or at-home care

What to expect during your treatment

Melissa will apply a customized scalp-care protocol based on your assessment findings. The appointment may include cleansing, exfoliating, targeted products, scalp stimulation, and techniques selected for your specific concerns.

Throughout the treatment, Melissa will explain what she is using, why it was selected, and how it fits into your overall plan.

What happens afterward

Melissa may recommend a personalized at-home routine to help maintain the scalp between appointments. Depending on your needs, she may also recommend additional scalp treatments, Fusion 8 Plasma Therapy, further testing, or monitoring your progress over time.

Fusion 8 therapy

Fusion 8 Plasma Therapy uses controlled warm and cold plasma technology as part of a personalized hair-restoration protocol. It is designed to support the scalp, calm visible inflammation, and prepare the skin to better receive customized topical formulas.

Melissa may recommend Fusion 8 for clients experiencing thinning, excessive shedding, or scalp concerns when more advanced follicle and scalp support is appropriate.

Advanced support for the scalp and follicles

Customized Topical Application

In-salon treatment plus at-home care

What Happens Between Appointments Matters Too.

In-salon treatment is only one part of supporting your hair and scalp. Based on your assessment, Melissa may create an at-home routine using products selected for concerns such as oil imbalance, dryness, buildup, irritation, or weakened hair.

Your routine will be explained clearly so you understand what to use, how often to use it, and why it was recommended. As your scalp changes, Melissa may adjust your routine rather than keeping you on the same products indefinitely.

How progress is monitored

Hair restoration is a process, not an overnight result.

Hair and scalp changes take time, and every client responds differently. Melissa uses follow-up conversations, scalp assessments, and comparison imaging to monitor visible changes and determine whether your plan should continue or be adjusted.

Progress may involve improvements in scalp comfort, oil balance, buildup, visible irritation, shedding, or the appearance of density. Melissa will explain which signs of progress are most relevant to your individual plan.
